The goal of SmallBiz Consulting Services is simple.

Provide Results!

Because of this, I don't charge by the hour. Instead, my fee is based on the type of project and the results required. This is called Value-Based Pricing and is a much better system than the traditional hourly pricing of many marketing consultants.

Here is the simple 3-step process for hiring me as your marketing consultant.

A Simple 3-Step Process

Step 1: If you happen to be in the Chicago area, we can have a sit-down meeting in order to discuss your marketing project, objectives and goals. If you're outside the Chicagoland area, we can set up a consultation call. In both cases, there is absolutely no charge for the initial consultation.

Step 2: Together, we write a proposal that summarizes the overall project objectives, the methodologies to be used, joint accountabilities, an estimate of the project duration and the final results to be achieved.

Step 3: Once we have agreed on the project parameters, I will provide you with a fixed price to complete the project. I Will Not provide any pricing information until Step 2 has been completed.

After you have accepted the proposal, we will establish a mutually agreeable starting time for the project. It's really as simple as that.

I can perform one of two roles for your company: marketing advisor or marketing collaborator. In the role of strategic marketing advisor, I will work with you to define overall strategic marketing objectives, including all resources that will be required for success. Once the strategic plan has been defined and written, it is up to you to implement the strategies. This is the most cost-effective way to work with me.

Alternatively, I can work with you as a marketing collaborator. In this role, we work together not only to define a particular marketing strategy, but to implement the strategy all the way to the final results. I will be there to work with you the entire way until the goals have been achieved under our agreed upon time frame.

Once you have agreed to the final proposal, 50% of the consulting fee will be required in order to begin the project. The remaining fee will be due upon completion of the work.
